It’s that time of year to start thinking about Young Women in Excellence. Our program will be held the last week of November, and we wanted to give our girls plenty of time to think about the project or experience they wanted to share. We will be passing out these sheets to remind everyone to mark their calendars and be ready for the evening. You can download my file here – just fill in your own date.
I am sure we will be using ideas from this “Arise and Shine” New Beginnings. I love the idea of the young women turning on a light after sharing how their personal progress project helped them to arise and shine.
I love this idea. I saw that idea and loved it for the new beginnings but hadn’t quite figured out how to incorporate it for YWIE. Thanks for this inspiration!!
Love your ideas!! We have our YWIE the first week in November, our theme is Shine. Sis. Dalton has a great new book called Shine & we loved the thoughts she had in this for our YWIE. I would love to incorporate some of your ideas you have for arise & shine forth YWIE. If you have any ideas for an invitation I would love to see them!! Your ideas are always inspiring!! Thanks for sharing!
Andrea – I’m just now thinking about the invites. I love what Sisters in Zion started planning on their “fireworks” YWIE. An invite with sparklers would be fun!

I love this idea!! I was trying to download it so I could insert our YWIE date, but I’m not techy enough to know how to do that in a PDF file. could you send it to me as a Word document???
Becca – I don’t have this in Word. It’s made in InDesign. The easiest thing to do would be to open the pdf in a graphics program (I wonder if something like Picassa would do this?), then insert your text like you would text on a photo. Let me know if this works for you!
