About Me

Hi! I’m Kristin. I have five daughters, ages 3 – 15. I live in Michigan, but am not crazy about the long cold winters. I am currently serving with the Young Women in my Ward, and love making fun stuff for them. I have enjoyed creating ideas that correspond with the Visiting Teaching messages for several years now, and you will find lots of ideas here for that, as well. I love hearing from you. Thanks so much for the comments!

I just wanted to say “thanks” for citing me on your blog! I have had around 50 links from your blog to mine. I appreciated your comments you left on my blog as well. I have only been doing this since September, and I have to say I love all the great people I have been introduced to in the blogging world. Thanks again! Susan

  12. sabrina says:

I love your website. You are so wonderful to share your talented inspiration with all of us. I looked for a more discrete way to contact you- alas I cannot find one. I wanted to let you know that under YW manuel 1, and under lesson #3 on Christ, the advertisements on the right side are for porn sites. I know that this is obviously something that you did not do- maybe a hack job with your advertisers but I thought you would want to know.

  13. Melissa Virgin says:

Thanks for your talent and hard work. I use your ideas constantly and love that they are simple, sweet, and to the point.

  14. Shawna Smith says:

I LOVE the pattern you used in March 2011 and was wondering if you can send me a version I can edit. I am hoping to use it in Young Women!
Thanks – you are SO creative and I love the things you come up with each month.

I’m 33 and ever since I left the YW I was never in any of the RS , since I’ve always served in the YW and primary ! But thank goodness for sisters like you ! I love everything you come up with ;) )) is just so creative not to share with the sisters in my ward !

  18. Shannon says:

I LOVE the candy jars for the theme each month – do you plan on revising them for the 2013 theme? We would greatly appreciate it if you did!!!!

  19. Kari Holden says:

I was checking out your pinterest boards and noticed your “where I grew up” album. I am curious if you grew up in the Fresno area and when you lived there. I am very familiar with the area and still live here:) I was looking at your visiting teaching ideas and plan to take some to my next meeting. Thank you for sharing your talents!

  20. Rebecca Wolfersberger says:

I love the stand in Holy Places handout. My daughter was so excited to make it up. We actually turned it into a little booklet that she can put in her scriptures and it looks so cute. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents with everyone.

  21. Linda H says:

    Dear Sister Kristin….
Thank you so much for sharing your talents. I love visiting teaching and I love your creative ideas…. I have other talents, but creativity in crafting isn’t one of them. But that’s OK, because I’ve found your blog! I am so thankful for your willingness to share your talent with the world. I have used several of your ideas already.
I’m a gospel doctrine teacher in my ward, so can’t use your yw ideas for my calling. But I’m thinking of using your punch board for my kids, have a theme each month, if they do something along with the theme, they get to punch a cup and get a treat. or use it for motivation for certain things… still mulling it around in my head. :)

  22. Brooke Anderson says:

I can not thank you enough for your site! I am so impressed with the quality of your work and just how many hours you’ve devoted to share these ideas for free. My husband does graphic design work on the side, and we understand how time consuming this is. I’m a counselor in YW’s and I can’t tell you enough what a gift your printables have been to my girls. They love everything you do!! You’re wonderful, and I hope you know how much your service means to us.

  23. Alyssa McVey says:

Hi Kristin! I found you via a pin on Pinterest linking to your post with the folded note. *flashback* It’s nice to ‘meet’ other Mormons in Blogland!

  24. Becky W. says:

    Hi Kristin,
I love all your wonderful ideas. They have helped me in my new calling as YW President, especially in helping the youth to plan and conduct meetings. I also really love the Come Follow Me curriculum hand outs you make. It helps my class presidencies decide which lessons they would like to be taught on Sundays, and gives them ideas for mutual activities that tie in with the lessons they have learned.

I was hoping you were going to have more of those. Will you be doing them for June and the other months? They really are just amazing and a great tool.

  25. Rachel Woodhouse says:

I hope you are ok. You haven’t posted anything to the visiting teaching link since May. I miss the monthly message accompanied by a creative piece. I hope you and your family are ok and that you will return soon!
