I am really excited (and a little nervous) to share something I’ve been working on for the last few weeks. I have really enjoyed sharing my visiting teaching ideas with you for the past 2 years. (2 years! The time has flown.) With the new year, I decided to stretch my creative muscles and design some printables I could sell online.
I just set up an Etsy shop with some fun cards to share with the sisters we visit teach. They are priced at 99 cents per card (or a collection of 5 cards is $3.99), and they are a sweet and fun way to share some love with each other.
They can be dressed up with a little paper or ribbon, but also look great as is. They are printed 4 to a sheet. You can cut them, add a personal message, and either hand deliver, stick in an envelope, or even print as a postcard.
The “Time Flies” card is one of my favorites – it’s a tentative appointment maker, and save the date card rolled into one.

I printed some info on a pretty colored sheet of paper, cut to fit my cards, then stapled, glued, or sewed them on.

I am a visiting teaching supervisor and have been the coordinator. I think that the more ideas out there to help the sisters do a better job at caring for each other is wonderful. Thanks for sharing!!

One of my goals for this year is to be a better visiting teacher. I think these are great and such a good idea to let the sisters know that we think of them more than just one day a month. My favorite is the Care for a Chat card! So cute.

I LOVE "Lighten your load"! I want to make these into thank you cards for ,y visiting teachers who lighten my load all the time. As a sisteer with health problems…they are my guardian angels!

I'm glad that you are giving away the card collection, because it would be hard to choose just one. They all speak to a need for at least one sister. The one that speaks to me the most is the "Let us lighten your load" card. That seems to define visiting teaching at its best.

I like the "wheelie" one 🙂 As a VT supervisor I love things like this to try to help motivate the sisters on my route to do their VT.

I love the Care for a Chat card! I have some wonderful ladies that I look forward to 'chatting' with each month. I enjoy it so much, I have e-mail addresses to keep in touch and also they are friends on Facebook so that we are in contact way more than once a month. My favorite card is "Let us lighten your load". I have a unique situation with my sisters. None of them are active or want to be visited but I try to reach out to them so they will ask for my help. Something like this is perfect for that. Even if I can't share the message, I can still serve :o) Thanks for sharing these.

I love the "lighten your load" cards. I mean, isn't that the best part of visiting teaching? Knowing that you can help lighten someone's burden and that your burden can be lightened? I know mine has and am so grateful for this wonderful program.
