Arise and Shine Forth with Good Works

We are highlighting Good Works in our Young Women group in February. Good Works is the value associated with yellow, so I’ve filled our Arise and Shine Forth Treat Jar with fun size Butterfinger candy bars.

I’ve made a free printable you can wrap the candy bars in. Click here for the Arise and Shine Forth with Good Works wrapper.

I love this happy yellow jar!

(You may have noticed this is a cleaned-out Yankee Candle Jar, and not the apothecary jar used previously. I dropped and broke the lid to my first jar when taking pictures! Ironic that I was taking pictures of Butterfingers…)

You are an answer to my prayer. I have activity days tomorrow and am still in the eleventh hour (literally 11:41 pm) trying to figure out what I’m going to do. I have been tossing around the idea of a service activity, more specifically random acts of kindness and was just searching the web for printable cards, quotes, etc… and out of frustration at no direction opened my reader and started reading blogs. You are the one that just nailed it down for me, already printed the quote and I’m off to bed finally knowing where I’m going with my activity. Thank You!

  2. So cute with the yellow wrapper sticking out at the end!!!

(Hoping my daughter brings one home on Sunday….she doesn’t like Butterfingers, and I’d be happy to ARISE and take it off her hands….all in the name of service, of course 🙂

Do you have a wrapper for knowledge? I’m going to camp next week and am using your ideas for a treat for my girls. I found all but knowledge. Thanks!

Dana, I’m using the Russell Stover sugar-free pecan delights for knowledge, and will have the printable ready very soon!
