Photo booth prep

Tonight is our Ward Halloween party, and I have been asked to do a photo booth for the evening. I do a lot of outdoor portraits, but indoor, nighttime shooting makes me feel a little nervous. I’m not sure exactly how we will work out the lighting situation, but I am excited to decorate my photobooth wall. I’ve spent several evenings in crafting bliss, playing with fabric, paper and thread. I used the tutorial here to make ruffled crepe paper streamers. This was so easy , and they streamers turned out exquisitely. Seriously yummy. Can’t wait to unroll these and drape them.

I got very excited when I found gray tissue paper at the dollar store to make a mini pom pom garland. I was inspired for this here.

And I couldn’t resist making a pennant banner to top it all off. That orange polka dot fabric makes me happy.

Now all that’s left is to figure out how and where to drape and light, and I’m hoping we’ll have some great photos to remember the kids, costumes and evening.
